Mediterranean climate and Italian flair make Ticino one of the most popular holiday regions in Switzerland. The typical Ticino village of Aurigeno is located off the main road in the Maggia Valley, only about 13 kilometres away from Lake Maggiore, Locarno and Ascona.
Surrounded by mountains, meadows and chestnut forests, it is only a 10-minute walk from the unique, natural river landscape.
The hostel is located about 5-minute walk outside the village centre, close to the historic church and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain panorama. Our beautiful garden with wooden sculptures, cosy seating areas and a waterfall invites you to linger and relax. A well-equipped guest kitchen and many fresh herbs from the garden are available to our guests.
The hostel is open from April to October.
